A truly modest hotel, convenient only if you’re only interested in seeing the pyramids, as it’s in a terrible area and far from everything else (especially Cairo, if you’re planning a visit).
The rooms left a lot to be desired aesthetically, not to mention the fact that I stayed for four nights and they didn’t even come in to provide us with clean towels or tidy up the room.
Otherwise, the staff were very friendly, and the terrace with a truly breathtaking view of the pyramids!
Before arriving on Booking.com it was said to have a room for 4 persons for a sum of 70 euros for 1 week. Room was very beautiful on the pictures. The owner was talking with us through whatsapp before arriving and even checked us in at 4 am, but we were checked in a really old room (looked like abandoned), nothing like in the pictures and 2 beds only. In the morning the booking.com reservation was canceled by the host, very suspicious. Also in the morning they offered us another room in another hostel across the street which was much nicer and looked more like on the pictures, but we had to pay 35 eur more. It was a nice, but small room with 2 small beds and a bathroom. There was no hot water for 4 days, air con was working fine, but it was leaking water in the room, so half of the room was covered with water. The view from the window was nice, breakfast was very nice and the rooftop was a nice place to hang out, incredible view
