Very bad hotel for the money paid. Bad service, rooms are very old. Furniture has stains, and teared. No facilities, suddenly the ac stops and the hot water becomes cold. overall the hotel doesnt deserve the money nor the 5 stars rating.
It’s nice hotel at quiet good location in terms of accessibility, however the hotel lacks enough and decent car parking spaces, more decent pedestrian access to main entrance and more waiting saloons at main entrance lobby!!
I recently stayed at Kempinski Royal Maxim Cairo, and overall, the service was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they made us feel welcome. While the room was initially a bit smelly, it was quickly refreshed and became comfortable.
The food was decent, though there is room for improvement. However, one thing that really bothered me was the situation with the sunbeds by the pool. As a guest with a poolside room, I found it unacceptable that sunbeds could be “reserved.” I noticed people coming in early, reserving sunbeds, then leaving for breakfast and returning later. It should be first come, first served, not pre-reserved. This practice gives the impression that employees are being paid to hold spaces, which doesn’t seem fair to other guests.
This is something that really affected my experience, and I hope it’s addressed in the future.

The hotel is in a great location with convenient transportation and close to the airport. However, the banquet hall is not very good and a bit old.
