Horrible service. They will rip you off any chance they get. Turned vehicle in after rental period and they claimed I had traffic violations but wouldn’t provide any proof. I was told that they would email me the receipt along with the proof of the traffic violations but never got anything.
I ended escalating to Alamo customer service and of course, I never heard back.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

The worst car rental company in the world. Scamming… they will take your booking, then they wouldn’t give you the car stating petty issues like – you came 15 mins late or your IDP is not from the country of your birth…even if you show the original IDP, original Driving License and original residence documents, they will start giving bureaucratic excuses… and they keep your money… never book from them; it’s not trustworthy. A tourist can’t plan a trip with a rental car from them, they will ruin the entire trip… I’m sure if you take car too from them, they will never give you complete refund of security considering their behavior. 0 principles and 0 customer obsession

**Warning: Avoid This Car Rental Agency**
I strongly advise against using this car rental service. My experience was highly disappointing due to poor communication, unprofessional practices, and unfair charges.
The agency failed to promptly collect the vehicle upon return, nearly causing me to miss my flight. Additionally, they exploited exchange rate discrepancies—while the rental agreement specified a rate of 30.90 per dollar, they charged me 45 pounds per dollar for extra mileage, significantly overcharging me.
This lack of transparency and customer care made the entire experience frustrating and unsatisfactory. Do not rent from them if you want a fair and reliable service.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Alamo Rent a Car at Cairo Airport Terminal 3. The car I received was in poor condition, with numerous scratches, and the customer service was abysmal. I had to repeatedly call to verify the car’s registration, but the employees were unhelpful and did nothing to resolve the issue. On the final day of my trip, I faced significant delays as they were very late in providing the car registration, causing me to be late for my flight back to the UAE. Furthermore, despite returning the car on July 19, I am still waiting for my $500 deposit as of August 22. The management’s lack of responsiveness and the overall experience were extremely frustrating. I strongly advise against using this company.

If there is a zero star, I would give them zero!!
After renting online and the contract clearly stating you need your License and you only have to provide your international drivers licenses if your license is not in Roman Alphabet
They insisted I need the international drivers license even though the clearly stating otherwise in the contract. If you book online, they may deny you and you are on your own under the mercy of rental companies that may charge you an arm and leg
If you insist on getting your car from this agency, bring your birth certificate and your advanced directive just in case they feel they need it!!! Just don’t go there!!
