We stayed on the MS Medea as part of our unlimited Egypt tour. We are a family of 4 from Australia and stayed 4 nights and had a fantastic stay. The rooms have been newly renovated and the cabins are very roomy and well designed. The staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay welcoming, comfortable and entertaining. The food is delicious with a large selection to choose from. Highly recommend!

We had the most memorable experience on the MS Medea River Boat cruise. The staff was exceptional – every detail was addressed! Our accommodations were lovely and spacious. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better trip!
Our tour guide, Haytham, from Spring Tours was absolutely fantastic. Even the transportation, drivers and tours were wonderful!
The newly renovated Medea Boat and all its staff made our honeymoon so special!

UniWorld Boutique Luxury Egypt land and river cruise is a must do! If you are traveling from the U.S. and are concerned about the Level 2 Advisory to Egypt, please do not worry. You will feel safer on this trip, than you do in some neighborhoods back home. We are currently on the last couple of days of our tour and words cannot describe what an unexpectedly pleasant surprise this trip has been. The sites such as the Temple of Karnak, the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel and so many more, are unbelievable to actually see in person, rather than learn about them from books or videos. The fact that civilizations, thousands of years ago, had the knowledge and fortitude to construct such incredible structures is hard to fathom. The Egyptians are lovely people. I assure you that you will be well taken care of on your trip. Everyone, from our guide Hateem, an Egyptologist, to Sam, our Cruise Manager, to all of the staff making this experience an unforgettable one, we truly thank you! This has been a trip of a lifetime!!!

Uniworld’s 12 day Nile cruise was marvelous. Our Egyptologist guide Tarik gave a week long graduate level seminar in Egyptian history from the old kingdom to Ramases the Great, Ptolemy and the Greeks, the Romans, Arabs, European powers, to the Arab Spring and current times. We saw temples from Luxor to Abu Simbul, mummies, and of course the Pyramids of Giza. The boat was well staffed and comfortable. I’d give the food a B and the wi-fi a C. We both had excellent massages. The Nile is beautiful in December and not too hot. Wouldn’t want to be here in September. Modern Cairo and Egypt were a bit of a shock, reflecting their abundant populations and level of development. But Uniworld did its best to weave around the worse parts and show us the best it had on offer

What an absolutely amazing experience. I don’t think there is any better way to visit Egypt in the comfort of the beautiful MS Miriam, sailing down the Nile, stopping at all the major sites along the way, and then returning to the comfort of your luxurious boat. Makes the holiday a true pleasure.
The staff on board are unbelievably attentive to everyone, and the facilities and food throughout the journey are second to none and as good a quality as you’ll find anywhere in the world.
A special shout out to Mr.Ehab and all of his team for the magnificent job that they do. My partner and I cannot wait to return in the future.
