Avoid this clinic in El Ikbal at all costs if you actually care about your pets They advertise 24/7 emergency care but it is a complete lie and a scamMy cat was having a severe life threatening medical emergency in the middle of the night shaking and unable to breathe Since it was dawn and it was just me and my mother heading out I called ahead to confirm I was explicitly assured they were open and they told us to come down Fortunately my friend was on the phone with us as a witness to everything promised To show you how deceptive they are they actually went ahead and deleted their messages afterward because they knew they messed up and tried to cover up their tracksWhen we arrived with a severely ill animal the place was locked up and deserted When I called the contact person he was extremely rude hostile and spoke to me in the most disrespectful way possible He literally said to me are we supposed to come down and wait for you in the street then he hung up on me and blocked my number across all channels including WhatsApp

I went with my 8 year old cockatiel as it was very early in the morning and other vets where not available .. as the doc reached the office first question he asked if i wanted to adopt a cat he had a bunch of cats in cages to the right that I guess he is looking after but the place was not clean and claustrophobic…. the question thew me off as a bird owner cats don’t mix well with birds .it took him 10 mins and came up with 5 different “medications” that had a bearly readable hand written label claimg it’s vitamins antiworm dosages that was completely random and antibiotics but when asked about the name he said he concocted them himself and refused to tell me what they are .but had alot of things to assume about how I got my birds and if he fathered the rest of the flock how I treat them and that there are nit many vets that treat birds (like I don’t know that all)and kept showing off that he had a guinea pig and other large birds like African greys that he looks after.i don’t know if he was trying to be friendly but it made me more uncomfortable .when I left I contacted a friend who was a vet that also said the medications didn’t make sense so apon calling the doc again he said if you don’t want th meds just return them .. which is what I exactly did .. a cockatiel is bearly 100 grams 2 doses a day of 2 different medications can actually overdose the animal.

The place is dirty and messy, and they don’t clean things before using them. There was an insect on the examination area. He gave unknown medicines, saying they were special mixtures but refused to say what was in them, Which is the weirdest thing I have ever heard.He also treated the animals very harshly.

Had a good experience with this office tonight. Even tho they are not my regular vet, they got me in quickly and were very thorough in explaining what was wrong with one of my babies. I would definitely recommend them.
