Worst neighborhood in Cairo, under construction so constant noise, nothing around, room was subpar, you could hear everything, and the breakfast was far too salty. I advise you to go to another area; all the hotels near the pyramids are in unsavory neighborhoods, so it’s better to go further and just visit the pyramids. At least you’ll be in areas where you can walk around peacefully and eat in restaurants.
Horrible experience, booked 4 rooms, ended up having 1 room with no AC, the other with weak AC, 1 of the bathrooms with bad scent, and no water pressure for the first hour then low pressure for the next few hours.
Tried to reason with the host but he didn’t want to help. The photos below are to show what to expect if you think of booking after reading what you’ll be dealing with.
-The accommodation is located in a house where locals also live, as is common for accommodations in Giza.
-Good accomodation for the value
-Nice, clean rooms.
-Good, safety location (but the area is somewhat deserted; however, this makes it quieter than accommodations facing the busier roads.)
-The rooms on the upper floors offer a great view of the pyramids
-Delicious breakfast at a prearranged time.
-The host is very kind and helpful
