I am writing this to formally express my deep disappointment and hurt regarding the conduct of a specific employee at your pharmacy.
My wife, who is Algerian, has been repeatedly targeted and mocked by this staff member. The situation began when my wife, trying her best to adapt to the local language, used the word ‘kersh’ (the Algerian term for stomach) to explain that our 15-month-old son had a stomachache. Instead of assisting her professionally, this employee mocked her openly in front of other customers.
Since that incident, every time my wife visits your pharmacy—which is conveniently located next to our home—this employee continues to make fun of her. Today, June 9th, at 11:30 PM, in the absence of her manager, she went even further. She openly admitted in front of her colleagues that she cannot help but mock my wife every time she sees her. I found this behavior deeply shocking and unacceptable. When I confronted her about her lack of professionalism, she responded with complete indifference, stating that she didn’t care.
It is truly regrettable that one person’s hostile attitude is ruining the experience at your establishment. In a place that serves many international residents trying to adapt to the local culture, such behavior is unacceptable and deeply hurtful. While the rest of your staff has been pleasant, this individual creates a toxic environment that makes us feel unwelcome. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as it has completely destroyed our trust in your pharmacy.
