SCAM!!

We booked this hotel, but upon arrival, the price was inflated compared to the reservation. We were even asked to cancel to pay more, surely to prevent us from leaving a negative review.
The excursions offered on-site were charged two to three times more than the actual price, and some supposedly included services were actually extra. We were pressured to pay everything quickly upon arrival, without any time to think.

The rooms did not match the description (no room service, no advertised amenities). The rooftop, which was supposed to have a lively atmosphere, was empty and unserviced.

We were also discouraged from going out for dinner. They offered me a meal package, which I accepted, only to then sell us a meal at the price of a French restaurant, even though a local meal costs less than €10. When we asked for an explanation, we were told it was “included” in something else, but in reality, we had paid twice. And during the excursion, at that infamous meal, we didn’t even get to choose what we ate—meals costing €4 when we’d paid a flat rate of €30 per day. And drinks weren’t included, which they also failed to mention. A complete rip-off from start to finish.

The only nice thing about the view of the pyramids was the view, but that doesn’t justify such shady practices. We felt cheated from beginning to end, which ruined our trip and our budget. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. It’s a scam.

The hotel staff are incredibly attentive, both at breakfast and throughout the day. They are very kind and friendly and will help you with anything you need. The rooms and bathrooms are clean.
