I’ve always had a great experience at Hookah in Heliopolis, so unfortunately, my recent visit to the New Cairo branch was quite disappointing.
We specifically went for the shisha, but there was a noticeable lack of attention when it came to changing the charcoal. The shisha eventually went out completely, and the taste became burnt, which really affected the experience.
On the positive side, we ordered the appetizer combo, and it was absolutely delicious and a great choice. The juices were also really good. The overall vibe of the place was nice and enjoyable.
As for the service, Islam was responsible for our table. Unfortunately, his attitude felt more like he was talking to friends rather than customers. He even used an inappropriate word, “bedan,” in front of us, which was very unprofessional. Whenever we needed something, we also had to wait quite a while before he noticed us. I understand that it was a Saturday and the place was relatively busy, but the level of attention and professionalism could definitely have been better.
Overall, I really liked the atmosphere, and the food and drinks were great, but unfortunately, the service and the shisha experience made this visit much less enjoyable compared to my usual experiences at the Heliopolis branch.

Where do I even begin? Without a doubt, this restaurant provided the best customer service I have ever received from any establishment, anywhere in the world.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The parking attendants and security team were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even walking us safely to our Ubers after each visit. Their kindness and genuine care made such an impression that it felt like we had made a friend for life.
The front desk staff were all wonderful, but Mamdouh was truly exceptional. He went above and beyond to make my mother feel comfortable, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect. His warmth and attentiveness are a big part of why we kept coming back. Ahmir continued that same outstanding level of hospitality, treating my mother with such genuine kindness and respect that it felt as though she were part of his own family.
Our waiters—Ahmed, Mohamed, Mustafa, and everyone else whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch—completely exceeded our expectations. Their service wasn’t just delivered with a smile; it genuinely felt like being welcomed by family. Every visit was warm, attentive, and memorable.
We spent a month in Cairo, and this became my mother’s favourite restaurant. While the food was consistently exceptional, it was the incredible staff and service that truly made this place special. They played a huge part in making our trip so memorable.
The entire team deserves recognition for the outstanding experience they provide. Having travelled to many countries, I can honestly say this is the best service I have ever received. I highly recommend this Tagamoa branch above any other.

We ordered the mixed meat feteer to share, and it was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The Turkish coffee and French Turkish coffee were both excellent. The double hookah was great and consistently serviced throughout our visit. Overall, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the experience.
