The worst hotel experience I have ever had — misleading and unacceptable

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. As soon as I paid for my reservation, the hotel changed me to a different property. I was also charged more than the price shown on Booking.com.

The hotel I was shown online was completely different from the one I actually received. The pictures on the listing did not represent the accommodation I was given. When I asked why I had been moved, I was told that the original hotel had no electricity or water. However, this was only communicated to me after I had already paid and arrived, leaving me with no real choice.

The staff were also extremely rude and unhelpful when I questioned the situation. Nobody provided a satisfactory explanation for why I was moved or why I was charged more than the price I had originally booked.

Overall, I feel that the booking was misleading from the beginning, and the experience felt like a scam. I strongly recommend being very careful before booking this property and checking exactly what accommodation you will actually receive. Im not the first to have experienced this with that hotel.

I would never stay here again.

The staff is very friendly, but the hotel is really run-down.

Just be aware that they have an incredibly high Booking.com rating.

The hotel is very old and dirty.

The view from the terrace is lovely, but keep in mind that all the hotels in this area have terraces.
I do not recommend this hotel.
