The man working overnight was very kind.
The shower drain clogged easily and leaked outside. (We had to be careful about where we placed the foot mat.)
The shower in our room was a little broken, and the water pressure was weak.
The breakfast was delicious, and the female staff member who brought it to us was very kind.

Clean modern-looking rooms. Bathroom was good with nice shower. Breakfast was fine. Lots of channel in the TV. Good wifi. Overall you get a lot for the price.
We had interactions with 4 staffs working multiple shifts. The reception ladies and the first guy at our checkin were lovely. Except for the one guy afterwards who tried a lot to sell tour packages. Was inconvenient dragging his explanations with no consideration for our time and convenience. Eventually sold us an evening nile cruise which we didn’t like at all.

Mohamed speaks German which is very nice as I’m German. The hotel is super clean and high value for money. I think it’s the best place to stay in Cairo. I can only recommend it to everyone.

I had an amazing time at Makai Guest House. I was warmly welcomed and the staff did the extra mile with everything. They adjusted the breakfast according to my allergies. They were always helpful and friendly. The rooms were really clean and very modern and bright. I would definitely recommend this place if you go to Cairo.

Amazing place close to everything. Mahmoud was VERY helpful and kind. I love Egypt so I went there many times but this was by far the most amazing experience and the best stay I had. The place was exceptionally clean and I had a great time.
