Where to start…
Paid extra and booked a room with a balcony and arrived to be told “the room is broken” and we had to just have the only room available.
On our first encounter with the man at reception, we asked him to book us a taxi to the pyramids. He proceeded to charge us 25US and when we spoke to the driver when he arrived we asked him what he had been given by the receptionist, he replied “4US dollars, this is real price”.
This was shocking from a hotel that has such positive reviews, be very wary of the man at receptionist as he took our money happily and told the driver “do not speak to the passengers”.
I wouldn’t stay here again even if it was the only hotel left north of the equator.

A very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling. They welcomed us with great hospitality and helped us throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
