Overall experience was satisfactory, the hotel is very close to the airport which is really convenient. however I’ve noticed the hotel is undergoing renovations which is an awesome thing but they need to do a lot of work to polish and clean after the rooms they have renovated. The first night I was put in an unpolished room where the bathroom basin was not covered up, there were paint marks on the floor and in the bath tub. The wall in front of the bed hasn’t been patched up yet. But I must applause the front desk staff to immediately assist with my feedback and changed a room for me. I’m truly grateful for the front desk staff! As a constant business traveler who stayed in many hotels over the past year, I could immediately see that this was not Radisson Standards and not a 4 star but the way the staff actioned to address my concerns did make my 13 nights stay with the hotel much better.

I truly hope once the hotel has finished with their renovations, their rooms and cleanliness will improve and be like their lobby area which is really important!

Thank God I only booked one night at this hotel. I honestly cannot believe a hotel is operating in this condition.

The room was extremely dirty and full of dust, and it genuinely made me question whether the room had been properly cleaned at all. Everything in the room looked old, worn out, and poorly maintained. The bathroom was even worse, there was rust everywhere, and the overall condition was simply unacceptable.

To make matters worse, most of the electrical outlets were not working, so I couldn’t even properly charge my phone. How is this acceptable in a hotel room?

I am honestly beyond disappointed. Cleanliness, maintenance, and basic functionality should be the bare minimum for any hotel, and this place failed on all three.

I’m just grateful I only had to stay for one night. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the disappointment, money, and frustration and stay somewhere else.

I can’t believe they actually didn’t allow us to bring our kettle inside! They made us take it out of the bag and kept it until checkout, claiming it was against their policy. The shocking part was when we entered the room and saw the kettle they provide, there is no way any normal human being can use that. It was filthy, old, and completely unusable.

A remarkable example of their integrity is that if you accidentally leave something in the lobby, you can trust that it will be safely kept for you—even after a month. That level of honesty and care is truly impressive.

I am genuinely grateful for yet another wonderful experience and look forward to staying here again. A special thank you to Dina, who is in charge of the Radisson Rewards membership program, for her outstanding professionalism, kindness, and excellent support throughout my stay.

Holiday Inn Cairo offers a very good stay overall. The hotel enjoys a convenient city-center location, making it easy to access key attractions, restaurants, and business areas. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a pleasant environment to relax after a busy day.

However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. Most of the time, only one employee is available at the reception, which can result in longer waiting times during check-in and check-out. In addition, the breakfast selection and quality were somewhat disappointing compared to the overall standard of the hotel.

Despite these points, the hotel remains a solid choice for visitors looking for a comfortable stay in Cairo with an excellent location.

We recently spent one week at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cairo Heliopolis and had a very pleasant overall experience.

The hotel is conveniently located near Cairo International Airport. Although it is somewhat farther from the city center and Giza, this distance allows guests to stay away from the hustle and bustle and heavy traffic of downtown Cairo. Considering current Uber fares (February 2026), it is still worthwhile to stay in this area, even if the trip to downtown takes approximately 30 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic.

The hotel itself maintains a high standard of accommodation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are consistently polite and friendly. The breakfast offers a wide variety of traditional and international options, including an omelet station, fresh fruit, and a coffee machine.

The only concern may be for guests who are sensitive to noise. Rooms facing the main street can be affected by traffic sounds and may not be ideal for light sleepers. We were fortunate to have our room changed to the quieter side of the building on the second day. I hope the management team will consider addressing this issue in the future, perhaps by enhancing soundproofing in the street-facing rooms.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the quality of service provided.
