To be honest, the whole hotel isn’t finished yet. At first glance, it looks nice and clean. But after a short stay, you realize that quite a few things are still missing for a hotel of this standard.
We had two rooms, and some of the doors didn’t close properly or couldn’t be locked. The bathrooms either had unfinished showers or toilets. One room had a strange smell. The safe was unusable and, unfortunately, wasn’t secured in the closet. The balcony doors closed with a lot of difficulty.
The breakfast was unfortunately not very varied; everything was pre-packaged. There was very little fruit and vegetables, not what you’d expect from a hotel that includes breakfast. The freshly prepared omelet was okay, but more like a fried egg with a lot of oil. There were many pastries, most of which didn’t seem fresh.
The pool, however, is nice and pleasant and is cleaned regularly.
Two out of three elevators were out of order for two whole days.
The staff tries to fulfill requests, but problems are often glossed over with positive persuasion, only minimally addressed, or promises are made that are not kept.
Security personnel were present, but rather inadequate. The gate was more like a run-down shed with staff.
Overall, the hotel has significant room for improvement, especially the upper floors! Three out of six floors were still under construction.
The view is of the surrounding construction site or the unfinished courtyard.
We took an Uber to the city center, which took 25-30 minutes. The area feels somewhat deserted and like a construction site.
We hope the hotel invests time and effort to properly develop the property and offer guests a truly enjoyable experience—we see future potential!
A very nice and very clean hotel. The staff are very tasteful, the room design is beautiful and harmonious, and the hotel is truly worth visiting every time you need accommodation in Cairo.
