It would be hard to find a hotel closer to the pyramids! We’re right behind them, with a stunning view of the pyramids from the rooftop terrace. The staff is incredibly welcoming; they provide free bottled water every day, offer mango juice, and are so attentive! Thank you to the entire team. Breakfast is included every morning, with huge portions, and omelets are also available.
The two of us spent almost a week here at this family-run hotel. Here, true Arabian hospitality is alive and well! We were able to check in much earlier and freshen up a bit, and the owner, Mahmoud, immediately invited us for tea and breakfast on the rooftop terrace.
The entrance to the Sphinx is a 5-minute walk away.
Our room was very clean. The breakfast was truly fantastic, typically Egyptian, with large portions and delicious food! We also ate at the rooftop restaurant twice in the evenings; Mahmoud’s wife is a fantastic cook! We enjoyed a rich menu of Egyptian specialties at a very reasonable price. All in all, we highly recommend Sidi Hamad Pyramids View and are already looking forward to our next stay with another warm Arabian welcome.
Fantastic two-day experience! The hotel is ideally located, the room was very clean, and the managers were very welcoming and helpful! Special thanks to Abadi and Mahmoud!

For how cheap and centrally located it is, it’s perfect. Lots of local food for breakfast, so go hungry. And lots of cats.
