AN ABSOLUTE SCAM

after returning the car and inspecting it and receiving the PDF document that the car status is unchanged, and the employee who confirmed multiple times that the car is ok and has no problems.
He stayed on the phone with another colleague, asking him about the visa machine, like he has never used it before, then claimed that he cannot give us back our deposit because there is a missing number, we showed him all papers we have but he asked for a non existing reference number just to send us away, and call after few hours when I left to say that he “found a scratch” and later I get an email with 480 USD cost to fix the car. I am 100% sure that the car had nothing when I returned it and I have an official sixt document to confirm, of course the “branch manager” number is out of service too.
What a shameful experience Egypt!! I rent cars all over Europe and never had anything like this
