The Oberoi Zahra, Luxury Nile Cruiser

I only gave it 2 stars, not because of the boat itself, but simply because we are French and no one on board speaks French, even though it was mentioned when I booked my trip for over €2200 a night. We expect at least a minimum level of service in French. As a result, we didn’t know what to order for meals because it wasn’t a buffet, and I don’t like wasting food or sending back dishes I didn’t like or that were too spicy. The only person who made a real effort and translated the menu for us using his phone was named Hassam, and I thank him very much, but we only met him on the second day. Otherwise, the cabin was very nice and spacious. Another thing: there was just one evening with Nubian dancers, nothing on the other days. It deserves a bit more atmosphere, like a show every night, because the trip from Aswan to Luxor is only 3 nights.
