I experienced an issue with my outbound ticket and wanted to confirm that I would not encounter the same problem on my return flight from Cairo. After calling the Cairo office approximately 20 times without receiving a response, I had no choice but to visit the office in person.

The staff member who was assisting me initially began to understand my situation. However, another employee, whom I recall was named Marcielle, abruptly left the customer she was assisting and interrupted our conversation without taking the time to listen or understand my concerns. The only responses I received were that the issue was my fault, that the airline was not responsible, and that such situations do not happen because of the airline.

Because of how I was treated and the complete lack of helpful customer support, I remained extremely anxious until the last minute of my return trip. Unfortunately, this incident is only the tip of the iceberg, as my overall experience with Turkish Airlines’ customer service has been consistently unacceptable. This will be the last time my family and I choose to fly with Turkish Airlines till we see real improvement. We are one if many who complain of similar (and the same) issues.
