We had a truly wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The view alone is something special: we could see the pyramids directly from our hotel room. The rooftop bar is also beautiful – smoking a shisha in the evening while gazing at the pyramids was definitely one of our highlights.
The breakfast is authentically Egyptian and delicious. The rooms were very clean, the location pleasantly quiet, and you hardly notice the traffic. Despite this tranquility, all the major sights are easily accessible from here.
The hotel itself also offers a lot. The pool is perfect for cooling off after a long day at the pyramids. There’s yoga with a view of the pyramids, great animation, and good entertainment. They even raffled off vouchers and free extras, which we thought was a really nice touch. The tours and activities offered were also superbly organized.
We would especially like to commend the service. Everyone was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcome throughout our entire stay.
A true 10/10 for us. If you want to stay overnight in Giza and have the pyramids right in front of you every day, this is the perfect place. We would definitely come back!
Another great option for an overnight stay to explore Egypt in a more realistic and impressive way, with all that entails.
I can only speak highly of this hotel, with rooms overlooking the Great Pyramid, a rooftop dining area where you’ll be captivated by the pyramid’s magnificence and its play of light at night. The pool is small but equally refreshing and rewarding, also with a view.
Large rooms with air conditioning and mosquito nets, elegantly decorated hallways, and games to keep you entertained.
The hotel is fairly decent, the comfort is basic (nothing to put your things on in the bathroom, so you put them on the edge of the sink, but when you turn on the tap it leaks and floods everything), the bedding is quite hard, but on the other hand, the air conditioning in the room worked well, as did the small fridge, and I didn’t have any problems with the hot shower water either.
The pool is great, but there are only two sun loungers with parasols (the rest are in full sun), so you have to be lucky to find one.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The real downsides:
Be aware that there’s no real restaurant, just a QR code to scan, which didn’t work for me, so I couldn’t access the menu of what was available to order. Also, it’s good to know that it’s not a buffet breakfast where you serve yourself; you have to choose the dish you want from pictures and wait at least 30 minutes, so keep that in mind if you’re in a hurry in the morning and have sightseeing planned…
The hotel is indeed located near the pyramids, but A 15-minute walk away, in a rather intimidating area, it’s easy to get lost in this maze of abandoned and unsettling streets.
The Wi-Fi doesn’t really work; it’s extremely unreliable, so plan ahead and buy an eSIM to have peace of mind regarding internet access.
And finally, a major drawback ⛔️⛔️⛔️
CONSTRUCTION! Day and night, no exaggeration!! The noise in my room was insane; it was impossible to get any rest. What’s more, it went on all night, until midnight and even later. I even had to go down to reception once to ask them to stop it because sections of the wall were falling to the floor right above my bed. It was making an unbearable racket. They were hammering and chiseling right above my bed, on top of the continuous noise of an angle grinder…
In addition to the noise, there was an enormous amount of dust flying everywhere. The area around the pool was constantly dirty, and my room, which was supposed to have a balcony with a view of the pyramids, was completely inaccessible because there was rubble everywhere, blocking the door (which, by the way, I couldn’t close, so I had all the noise from outside and the street at night…).
It could have been an okay stay, even though the hotel is far from being a 4-star as they claim.
But really, it’s unacceptable to have so much construction and noise while still accepting guests!

Right in front of the pyramids and an amazing rooftop dinner in front of the pyramids.
