Ruined £500 bag, painful nails, and 3.5 hours wasted—avoid unless you see Omaima!
This was my third visit here. The first two times I saw Omaima, who is absolutely amazing, professional, and does gorgeous work. Sadly, my experience today was a complete and costly nightmare. Avoid this salon unless you can book specifically with her.
I arrived at 11:30 AM for a pedicure and manicure. The major issues began when the pedicure technician moved my £500 designer bag, which I had safely left on the chair next to me, directly onto her equipment stand. She got scrub product all over it, completely ruining it.
Next came my fingernails. The technician gave me oversized extensions that actively hurt. They looked absolutely nothing like the natural look in the reference picture I showed her multiple times. Because none of the staff spoke English, she completely ignored my requests to remove them. The communication barrier was so bad that another customer actually had to step in and translate that I was unhappy.
The technician tried to redo them, but the final result was awful and covered in glue. By this point, it was 3:00 PM. I had been sitting in the chair for three and a half hours, watching the staff yap away with each other while treating my basic service requests like an absolute burden.
I was so exhausted, uncomfortable, and fed up that I got up and left without getting my toe gels done. Management and staff clearly saw how upset I was, but not a single person acknowledged the situation or apologized. Instead, they charged me full price for the terrible service and let me walk out.
I am going to Dubai with my husband, and my nails look like they were dragged through a bush, ruining our plans for vacation photos. I wasted my entire day, my money, and a designer bag. I am incredibly unhappy and will never return.
