I had a wonderful 7-day stay at the Sphinx House. It’s the perfect place to stay in Giza. The hotel is a little oasis of peace, perfect for relaxing after your sightseeing. The rooms are clean, the staff is welcoming, and you feel right at home. The best part: the view of the Great Pyramid of Giza and the pool. Ali was incredibly hospitable; he organized our tours, taxis, and guides. It was clear that he really wanted to make sure our stay went as smoothly as possible. I’ve seen some slightly negative reviews, but they don’t at all reflect my experience over those 7 days. Keep an open mind! Thank you, Ali, for your kindness.

Sphinx House is truly a hidden gem. Waking up and seeing the Pyramids right from the terrace felt unreal. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is authentic, and the staff made me feel very welcome throughout my stay.
After a day of exploring Giza, the refreshing pool was exactly what i needed. It was the perfect place to cool down, relax, and enjoy the incredible surroundings.
If you’re looking for a unique experience with breathtaking Pyramid views, a refreshing pool, and genuine Egyptian hospitality, I highly recommend this place.

Sphinx House is an oasis amongst the busyness of the Giza district and Cairo itself. Spacious rooms, lovely pool to cool off in and having the view of one of the Giza pyramids was something else, just amazing. Ali, the owner made it more special, his care and availability to take us to the Saqqara step pyramid, and arrange fantastic guides and transfers to anything was really appreciated. I loved my stay there and would recommend it especially if you want to stay somewhere more boutique and personable.

Fantastic guest house run very well. They can help you with anything you might need. Good food, taxis and tours.
You are just far enough from the bustle of the pyramids and walking distance (I would recommend walking on the main road and browsing all the souvenirs, bakery’s and juice bars.)
