Hostmark Blue Beach Hotel Marsa Matrouh

The beautiful location could not make up for the poorly trained staff, uncomfortable guest experience, and substandard facilities.

The biggest issue was the service and communication. Most staff seemed poorly trained and unable to provide clear answers. When we had questions about our room booking, the front desk repeatedly read information from printed reservation papers instead of explaining the situation. Requests were often acknowledged but not followed through.

The facilities also felt below expectations. Some areas appeared worn despite the hotel reportedly opening recently. Recreational facilities such as the pool table and table tennis required additional charges by time. Breakfast was basic, with powdered juice and instant coffee rather than what many guests would expect from a four-star property.

The location and beach are nice, but overall the service quality, communication, and attention to guest needs need significant improvement.

It was a wonderful vacation.
We met many lovely people and are leaving with both smiles and tears in our eyes.

We will definitely come back — with such warm hospitality, it is impossible to resist 😊

The food was authentically Egyptian, which I personally appreciated very much.
The Ladychefcooker is an absolute treasure — so kind and warm-hearted.
As an expat with an Egyptian extended family, I especially appreciated the traditional cuisine. Everything was always very clean, fresh, and delicious.
Thankfully, no Antinal was needed 🤭

The ladies at the reception were always friendly, cheerful, and very helpful.

The hotel management and leadership were genuinely professional, attentive, helpful, and also very personable and funny.
They knew the guests by name and addressed everyone personally — even the children. This truly shows how much they value their guests.

We sincerely enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would love to come back again.

The lobby staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming. The lady who assisted us during check-in and check-out had a lovely smile and handled everything so professionally. The gentleman who helped us late at night was also very kind, flexible, and genuinely helpful.

A special thank you to the breakfast manager, Mr. Antar, whose attention to detail truly stood out. He constantly checked with the staff to make sure everything was perfect, even confirming that the glasses were spotless and asking guests if they needed anything. It was clear how much effort he puts into maintaining such a clean and pleasant breakfast environment.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the entire hotel was beautifully maintained. Breakfast was simple buffet style, but everything was delicious. The private beach right in front of the hotel was also beautiful and made the stay even more relaxing.

The only small downside was that the shower water pressure was a bit weak, but aside from that, everything was perfect. Every staff member was kind, always smiling, and made us feel so comfortable throughout our stay.

We would love to return as soon as possible, and whenever we come back to Marsa, we will definitely stay here again.
