⭐ Very Disappointing Experience – Not What I Expected From a 5-Star Rating
Unfortunately, my experience at Lotus Hotel in Fifth Settlement was very disappointing, especially considering that it is presented as a 5-star property on Booking.com.
The first issue was the location. The actual location was different from the location shared/listed on Booking.com, which caused inconvenience.
There is also no dedicated hotel parking, which is something guests should be clearly informed about before booking.
Breakfast was included in my reservation, but I decided not to use it as it did not look appealing to me.
The bathroom was another major disappointment. It was very small and not clean enough. The shower hand was broken, and the vanity mixer was loose and clearly required maintenance.
The property itself felt more like a normal residential building divided into individual rooms rather than what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.
Considering the room condition, facilities, maintenance, parking situation, and overall level of service, I found the price very expensive for what was provided.
Based on my personal experience, the property did not meet my expectations for the rating or price, and I would not choose to stay here again.

Terrible experience at this hotel. Not worth any penny for this !!!!!! This is one of the worst hotel in Cairo.
Check-in Disaster: I paid for an extra night to guarantee a 6 AM check-in, but they gave my room away because I didn’t make the check in on 5.07, even I mention to them in booking. I had to change rooms 5 times and didn’t get my actual booked room until 11 PM.
No Basic Amenities: They do not even provide drinking water in the rooms.
Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Save your money!

I booked a Deluxe Single Room expecting a 5-star hotel, as advertised on Booking.com with professional, polished photos. The reality was completely different — this place is fraudulent. The room was filthy, with zero cleaning done before arrival. The toilet had clearly been used and left in a disgusting state. This hotel does not deserve even 1 star. I’m escalating this to Booking.com and strongly recommend avoiding it to save yourself the money and the trouble.

the place is very clean and beautiful, with a great location and excellent value for money. It offers all services, and the gym and sauna are free, which is truly amazing. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is excellent. All the reception staff are friendly, helpful, and speak both English and Spanish. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone
