I had a really bad experience here and unfortunately my natural nails were seriously damaged.
During my appointment, the technician kept filing my nails repeatedly until they became very thin, reddish, extremely soft, and sensitive. I was very uncomfortable with how much my natural nails were being filed, but the filing continued.
Afterward, I went to a different nail technician to have the damage assessed and to remove the product. She was shocked by the condition of my nails and refused to apply gel because my nails were so damaged and soft, and she was concerned about the risk of infection.
I have never had my natural nails left in this condition after a nail appointment. Filing should not leave someone’s nails painfully thin, red, and extremely weak.
I am extremely disappointed with this experience and I hope the salon takes this seriously and makes sure their technicians understand how to work safely on natural nails. I would personally not recommend this salon based on my experience.
